Welcome to our S'Paw at the Bone Adventure.

Come meet Tracy, she’s been in the grooming business for over 19 years (though she only looks 20) she is a Master Groomer and takes pride in promoting professional standards in pet grooming knowledge and care. She’s been part of our team since mid-summer 2005 spearheading our fluff n puff service as well as designing and running our beautiful S’paw and grooming area. Once Tracy has an opportunity to meet your dog she can give you an overall assessment of your grooming requirement and design a plan to keep to your dog’s skin, coat, nails and ears in tip-top shape. She has created a safe, warm, and loving environment for your pet to enjoy a true S’Paw Adventure.

S’paw Bath

A S’Paw bath includes skin and coat analysis by Tracy, followed with our luxury Hydrosurge bath with our top of the line products chosen exclusively to your pets needs, a complete towel and blow dry, ear cleaning treatment, and paw pedicure. This is a good way to pamper your pet while keeping the skin and coat healthy and clean. This service is offered at a discounted rate for our long term boarders and our Calendar Dogs.

The Furminator Shed-less system (not “shed Free” system)

The Furminator shed-less treatment is a special anti-shedding treatment that dramatically reduces the mess and clean up of unwanted pet hair that you find all over your car and couch! This service is at the cost of $20.00 per 20 minutes and is done in 20 minute sessions.

Paw Pedicures (a.k.a. nail trim)

This service is available separately.

Full Body Clip and Breed Clip (So the other kids don’t make fun of them at The Bone)

Tracy is an experienced pet groomer and can accommodate your dog’s haircut and style. Please take a few moments to consult with her on your dog’s unique requirements and fancy looks.

Just a Bath (where a quickie isn’t a bad thing)

This is a service offered to our overnight guests, regular day care guests and Calendar dogs. This is a quickie bath at an affordable price for all of our hard core party animals that need frequent bathing after playing hard at The bone. “Just a bath” is a warm conditioning bath and towel dry… that’s it! No side orders please. . .

Flea Treatments ( a summer must have)

We carry Advantage and Front Line for all dogs big and small for your convenience. These may be applied for you at a small cost of 15-18 buck$ (no flea bags allowed at The Bone).

Fluff N Puff (what the heck is a Fluff N Puff?)

As much fun as your dog has here, we know that he’s been rolling around (in who knows what) and playing all day (with who knows who) and needs to be freshened up. With a pre-moistened, deodorizing washcloth, we wipe down your dog’s entire body (Puff), including face and feet, followed by a quick towel dry or blow dry (Fluff) and a spritzer of that “ New Dog “ smell. This process takes about 3-5 minutes and can be arranged prior to pickup (just call)

Please don’t expect your dog to be going home smelling too “Rosie” after this one, but at least it is better than them smelling like “Buster” or “George” Right??

HOW TO BECOME A BONE ADVENTURE CALENDAR DOG!

First and foremost, you need to be a real cute dog. Ugly dogs need not apply. We haven’t seen an ugly dog yet, but if we do we won’t let him in.

Second, you need to get on a regular grooming schedule with our groomer, Tracy.

Once you are “on the calendar”, you won’t need to be reminded by the smell of your dog when to make that grooming appointment.

A now graduate of Diane’s overnight computer course, Tracy will enter you in as a re-occurring appointment and at the push of a button you are in. Once a week? Twice a month? As long as it is at least once a month….( that’s why we call them Calendar Dogs) So… no more of those embarrassing moments when you have a smelly dog and unexpected guests drop in.. We have you covered.

We offer to our Calendar Dogs discounted rates, specials of flea treatments, and VIP Status. No waiting in long lines…

Please keep in touch if you have any questions…I know how to e-mail too! Tracy@theboneadventure.com.

The Bone Adventure
Dog of the Month:
Lilly & Winston

It’s February, and Cupid has struck at The Bone Adventure! Meet our cutest couple, Winston the Sharpei and Lilly the German Shepard! Ever since Lilly’s first day at Bone Home on May 1st, 2012 it was love at first sight for these two! It all began at the water bowl, where their noses touched and their tails wagged in unison. These two really bring out the best in each other! From the moment Lilly drags her parents into The Bone, It’s almost like Winston can sense that Lilly is coming and he’ll run straight to the door to greet her with kisses! They are so sweet together! Winston likes to let everyone know who his girl is, and is always showering her with tons of affection in front of all of his buddies-Lilly doesn’t seem to mind it, in fact she loves it!- And with the encouragement of their parents, these love-struck pups’ relationship has really grrrrrown. Their parents are so excited about their new found love at doggie day care that they even make sure to set up dog-dates outside of The Bone! Too cute! Now that’s what we call puppy love!! We love to love you, Winston and Lilly!
xoxo, The Bone
